Licensed professional guide service, serving East Texas and the Katy Prairie.
Palmetto Guide Service offers fully guided goose hunts on the Katy Prairie region, southwest of Houston.   Millions of Snow, Ross, White Fronted, and Canada geese winter here annually. We have access to thousands of acres of private property including rice, corn-stubble, rye grass, and flooded roosts, with no over-crowding or excessive hunting pressure.

All hunts are professionally guided and pre-scouted, generally with 2 guides to help with decoys and equipment.  We use ATV's Trailer and 4x4 vehicle as needed to get to prime spots.  We use a variety of decoys as conditions dictate, including wind socks, kites, flyers, shells and motion decoys.    We generally set 250 - 800 decoys or more depending on conditions.  We also are known to be on the cutting edge of decoy and blind research/technology.   Also, we are not afraid to use a few tricks.

Goose Hunts Include an Experienced Guide, 4x4 trucks, ATV and Trailers, Trained Retriever and Decoys

 
$150/person - 4 person minimum -  4:30 AM to Noon
Bring: Waders, Camo Dress, Camo Face, Federally Approved Ammunition, Texas License and signed Federal Duck Stamp.

 
50% deposit required at the time of booking.   All hunts and fishing trips are guaranteed professionally guided and are by reservation only.  Corporate, club and family groups welcome. Deposit will be refunded with seven day cancellation notice prior to booking day less a 15% cancellation fee.
